Bags. What bags?

As many of you have noticed there has been a serious decline in the number and variety of bags offered on my site. The main reason for the big change is that at the end of last year I took a part-time position working for someone else. This was something I had debated about (with myself ) for quite some time and finally decided it was time to take a break from full-time sewing for a bit. I didn’t originally intend to cut back as much as I have, but the job has grown into more hours per week and resulted in less time for me to commit to sewing bags and inserts. So if you happen to check out the Etsy shop looking for inserts and find it empty, that means I have reached the max number of orders I can handle at that moment in time. The listings will reappear as I have time available to produce them.

Holidays are Here Again…Custom Order Deadlines are too

Those sneaky holidays are right around the corner once again with Christmas only a little over a month and a half away. I know a month and a half can seem like more than enough time, but not in the world of made to order custom items. So as I did last year and the year before that I am posting the “receive before Christmas” order placement deadline in early November. This deadline will include all custom made items, including all handbags and inserts. Ready to ship items will still be available for quick ship up until the last mailing date available (unless I am not available to mail the packages, notice will be provided if that happens).

To receive a CUSTOM order prior to December 25th, it must be be placed by:

USA Orders – December 2nd (Upgraded shipping will be offered for orders placed after this deadline)

International Orders – November 20th (Upgraded shipping will be offered for orders placed after this deadline.)*

*Please note that I have NO control over customs. All international shipments are sent Priority Mail which includes tracking and faster delivery than first class, but packages can still be delayed in customs.

These deadlines help me to provide the best possible delivery and customer service during the holiday season. They also help to ensure that I will still have some free time during the holiday season to spend with friends and family and not my beloved sewing machine .

New Smaller Lens Sleeve Insert Available in the Shop

The smaller adjustable divider inserts have always been around, but now I’m happy to announce the smaller lens sleeve insert. Available in the 5″ depth and a variety of lengths, the new smaller size includes two padded lens sleeves and one padded interior slip pocket. The standard sleeves will accommodate lenses up to 3″ in diameter.
